Our standards
A guide built on trust, not paid rankings.
Dominican Food App connects people with Dominican food, the restaurants behind it and the communities shaping it. We distinguish directory information from editorial recommendations and separate both from the ability to order online.
Listings are not awards.
A restaurant profile helps people discover a real place. Appearing in our directory is not a rating, a restaurant certification, or a claim that we have personally visited.
Guides explain the why.
Our editorial features focus on real dishes, useful neighborhood context, published restaurant information and a clear reason for inclusion. Guides are not numbered rankings. Menu items, availability and hours may change.
Editorial recognition is independent.
Restaurants do not have to become Ordenado partners, activate direct ordering, or buy advertising to be considered for a guide or Dominican Food App Honors. Commercial placements, when offered, must be labeled.
Community voices need context.
Community nominations can inform reporting, but popularity alone does not make a restaurant a winner. Public awards need a published method and sufficient evidence before a winner is selected.
Ordering is a separate service.
The ability to order directly indicates an available commerce option, not an endorsement of food quality. Ordering is powered by Ordenado only where a restaurant's live storefront is eligible.
Feedback and corrections matter.
Restaurant owners can claim their profile and request factual corrections. Private feedback submitted through an order receipt is not a public restaurant review or permission to receive marketing messages.
Know a restaurant we should cover?
Explore the directory, visit a restaurant profile or use its Claim option if you own the business. Suggestions do not guarantee editorial inclusion or a commercial partnership.
